Arij is only 21 years old, but has already seen so much pain. She has 4 biological children to care for and is currently pregnant. Additionally, her husbands brother was lost during the horrific conflict, leaving his 5 children also in the care of Arij and the family.
She is currently displaced on the streets in a tent with no flour, and no income to buy it. With free aid obsolete or not enough, and the price of food rising inexorbitantly, she is going without milk and diapers for her children. Additionally, her husband was badly injured in a bombing, causing a leg injury that makes it difficult for him to walk and move around, putting so much pressure for the childrens and families care on Arij.
